The World Bank Group is piloting a project to eradicate extreme poverty by 2030. Jim Yong Kim is enlisting the help of millenials and across the board support from business, industry, hollywood and the media to focus on ending poverty in sixteen years.

The bold plan was debuted at the ultra modern, sweeping and high ceiling of James Wolfensohn Atrium.

Four representatives of the millenial generation, leaders in their respective areas were invited to speak in front of a packed crowd, hundreds of World Bankers. The final speakers were Jim Yong Kim and Ban Ki-moon. The President of the World Bank and the Secretary General of the United Nations.

In a moving piece by Director Richard Curtis, the crowd watched a tribute to the many symbolic leaders on poverty, such as the late Nelson Mandela and Ghandi. The final act of the group addressing the crowd was to form a circle and took, what is now the smart phone regular “selfie” with crowd as the background.

This appears to be the beginning of a new World Bank.
